How to use Athena in 4 Steps
Step 1: Access Your
Voice Recording App
💡 Note: Instructions may vary slightly depending on your device. Click your device for more details.
Step 2: Record Your
Lecture
When your lecture begins press the circler record button 🔴 to start and stop a recording
👉 Tip: On mobile devices point the microphone (usually at the bottom) towards the lecturer. Closer is better!

Step 3: Share Your
Recording
Email notes@getathena.org with your .edu email and course name as the subject (e.g. CS61A)
💡 Note: Consider attaching additional course materials, like lecture slides, for richer notes.
🎉 Step 4: Receive
Your Notes
You'll receive an email 💌 with your lecture notes within 1 hour
👉 Tip: We host our notes on Notion. To edit your notes, login with your Notion account.
